The Japanese Square Enix Members account has been buzzing on Twitter today about the upcoming sales campaign for Final Fantasy XIV. Gaming stores across the country are about to receive some posters, standees and wall scrolls to decorate their windows and get the word out. I apologize for the poor quality, but the account holder appears to use a tiny cell phone camera most of the time.(buy FFXIV gil)

Check below for the pictures!

This first poster was illustrated by the famed Yoshitaka Amano. At the bottom, you can see the release dates for the Collector's Edition and regular version along with some screenshots. The tagline on the top right is "The Age of Adventure Begins" like displayed when visiting the official FFXIV site.

This picture is of a second poster designed by Akihiko Yoshida. (FFXIV gil) Even as an Amano fan, I find this one looks nicer and gives the viewer a better idea of FFXIV as a group experience. Again, the release dates and tagline are all included.

Here we see a set of small standees, ready to be popped out of their frames. (buy FFXIV gil) We appear to have standees for each of the five races, and cut off on the right side, the FFXIV logo.

The last -- and probably best -- piece that was featured was this FFXIV wall scroll, again based off Akihiko Yoshida's artwork. Now, after showcasing each promotional piece, (FFXIV gold) the account's manager would keep telling customers to go check them out at the store. Forget that -- I want to take them home with me! When Square Enix released Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light, they made its promotional standee available to players who purchased an early copy.

Already these snapshots have gotten a big reaction from fans, and it seems like they would like to see pieces like these on their own walls at home.
